Danny Donahue
Brand Manager, Frameless Shower Hardware
Danny has been in the glass industry since 1986. Starting out as an apprentice at a family-owned residential glass shop, Danny worked with mirrors, wardrobe doors, hack-out glass replacements, glass railings, storefronts, and showers. He installed semi-frameless showers regularly when an updated version of a shower enclosure appeared: Frameless Showers. Danny’s next 10 years were exclusively spent installing frameless showers before making a move to C.R. Laurence in 1997.
Danny worked at C.R. Laurence’s Shower Door Technical Sales Department for the next 22 years, providing guidance and instruction to customers. In 1999, Danny was instrumental in creating a very user-friendly shower door computer program for calculating glass sizes, providing quotes, pricing glass and hardware alike. The online program was successful, and Danny remained the administrator. Building relationships and sharing his knowledge on frameless shower enclosures by educating people worldwide through conventions, professional groups and organizations is what Danny excels at.
A few years back brought a change in scenery for Danny when he joined the FHC team. He is dedicated to collaborating with beginner, and experienced veteran shower installers alike and employs the same enthusiasm that has been a hallmark of his career. He is truly in his element when he is answering difficult installation inquires or engineering new products to make the glass industry better as a whole.
