Surface Preparation
Make sure the mirror and the approved mounting surface is free of construction dust, and is clean and dry. A (72 deg. F) room temperature is preferred for optimum adhesion. Do not apply below (55 deg. F) or above (90 deg. F).
How to Use
Dispense your Mirror Mastic+ in vertical 12" to 18" beads along your entire mirror mounting surface. Apply a minimum of one bead for every foot of mirror installed. To prevent unnecessary clean up do not run the mastic beads too close to the mirrors edge. Install your mirror by pressing it firmly in place making good contact between the mirror and mounting surface. Support the installed mirror with securing tape. Curing time will depend on temperature, substrate type, humidity, and amount of air that can reach the mastic. Any cleanup can be done with acetone right after installation.
Prevention
Wash face, hands, and any exposed skin, thoroughly after handling. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like protective gloves, protective clothing, and face protection. Wear eye/face protection.
Precautions
IF ON SKIN: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. If skin irritates or rash occurs, get medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. IF IN EYES: cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do; continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a Poison Center or doctor. DO NOT induce vomiting.
