CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65
Proposition 65 (The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 ) requires companies doing business in California to provide a “clear and reasonable” warning before knowingly and intentionally exposing anyone to a listed chemical, unless the business can show that the anticipated exposure level will not pose a significant risk of cancer or is significantly below levels observed to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

- For California Market, by law, to notify your customers that products sold may contain chemicals deemed potentially unsafe, outlined by Prop 65, prior to their purchase. The current list of Proposition 65 chemicals can be found at https://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65/proposition-65-list
- If reselling products in California, you must comply with Prop 65’s guidelines for properly displayed warnings for both online and physical sales.
- If based in California, you must notify your workers of potential exposure to the Prop 65 toxins.
