Armando Rodriguez
Vice President of FHC Manufacturing
Armando’s career started back in 1989 with a Japanese owned company named Tajima Corporation. Tajima specialized in making custom doors, storefronts, and curtainwalls. Armando was a Design/Draftsman and learned the ins-and-outs of the manufacturing process. Armando was very eager to learn more, and in a brief period he taught himself how to work all the machinery used in the manufacturing process and was quickly promoted to Senior Project Manager. In his new position, Armando built relationships with customers in the Glass and Metal Industries.
After 9 years at Tajima, Armando decided it was time to start his own company, International Architectural Metal Works. As a specialty contractor designing, manufacturing, and on occasion installing custom products, Armando gained more valuable knowledge in estimating, designing, and all aspects of fabrication.
In 2005, Armando joined C.R. Laurence helping them develop a complete manufacturing process as they ventured into the world of making custom products. During his time spent at CRL, he worked in several parts of the business from sales, technical sales, to manufacturing. It was clear Armando was gifted in the field of manufacturing and was promoted into the position of Senior Vice President of Manufacturing.
After 31 years, Armando welcomed his next challenge, and began working at FHC to help develop our manufacturing processes. In two short years, Armando has accomplished what others would have taken at least ten years to build. We are lucky to have Armando at the helm of FHC Manufacturing, as he continues to contribute to our rapid growth and leadership in the industry.
